For friends of Georgia, we can arrange activities in Georgia that we have prepared in cooperation with our Georgian partners. We offer programs mainly for groups of friends, but also for individuals. We are happy to adapt to your requirements, wishes, and budget. We can prepare an excellent program both for demanding clients and for classic trekkers with their own sleeping bags.

By taking part in an activity, you become a member of the club. We believe that everyone who visits Georgia automatically becomes a friend of Georgia :).

The foundation is expeditions (road trips) — journeys through the most beautiful places in Georgia. We will prepare a route according to your ideas, at a time you choose, and at your preferred level of difficulty. The number of days and the program are entirely up to you. The journey can focus on mountains, landmarks, or cities.

Transport is provided by Mitsubishi Delica off-road vehicles for 5 people plus a guide, or by Jeep. Drivers include Zviad Esebua, Soso Vardanicze, Beso Kvaliashvili, David Chincharauli, and others. For expeditions, either we will travel with you, or we will place you in the hands of experienced local guides.

People of the Caucasus are very skilled horse riders. For horse lovers, we offer a unique 5–7 day journey on horseback through uninhabited mountain valleys and peaks in Khevsureti and Tusheti. Accommodation is in family guesthouses as well as in tents, depending on the type of trip.

In spring, when there is still snow in the Caucasus, you can join us in the romantic Vashlovani National Park in southern Georgia.

Georgia has a large variety of ecosystems within a relatively small area. Birds can be observed in very different habitats that are not far from each other. The bird paradise is guided by experienced ornithologist Gia Gianashvili, and in Vashlovani National Park by Temur Popiashvili.

Ornithologists usually focus on the “big five” (Caucasian snowcock, Caucasian black grouse, great rosefinch, white-winged redstart, and black-footed leaf warbler), but many other species can also be observed: wallcreeper, citrine wagtail, snow finch, Sardinian warbler, and dozens of other species.

Common birds of prey include the bearded vulture, griffon vulture, golden eagle, eagle owl, peregrine falcon, rough-legged buzzard, and sparrowhawk.

Wild foothill rivers invite you to go rafting. Rafters from the Jomardi club offer shorter trips on the Mtiuleti Aragvi and Pshavi Aragvi rivers, as well as multi-day rafting trips on the Mtkvari River.

The ski resort of Gudauri (2,200 m above sea level) is the best-known center of winter sports. It offers high-altitude Alpine-style skiing on perfectly groomed slopes at elevations of 1,990–3,307 m above sea level, and dozens of modern hotels and apartments built from scratch — all just a 2-hour drive from Tbilisi. It is an opportunity to ski in the highest mountains of the European continent at incomparably lower prices than, for example, in the Alps. There are 60 km of slopes available. A major attraction is heli-skiing and freeriding under the guidance of experienced guides.

If you want to ski in conditions similar to Chopok, but stay in a distinctive mountain village with many beautiful old wooden houses with terraces (along with plenty of newly built hotels), and enjoy both very sunny weather and Georgian hospitality, we recommend Bakuriani (1,700 m above sea level). There are 12 slopes of varying difficulty. They are located at elevations from 1,800 to 2,850 m above sea level, with a total length of 10 km. Bakuriani is ideal for ski touring and can be combined with trips to the surrounding area.
